No matter your lid - U.S. Bottlers can close the deal.

In the two decades since U.S. Bottlers introduced its rotary capper, the company's low and high speed capping systems have become one of the most popular lines in the company's product family. Models have been delivered to perform such tasks as mascara brush insertion, pump sprayer application, snap-fit closure insertion, and pick-and-place plugging.

Cappers from U.S. Bottlers offer design simplicity, custom-engineered convenience, accuracy and durability. They deliver peak performance in harsh, corrosive filling environments. Additionally, they are easily coupled directly to our filler in either monoblock design or synchronized configuration.

Screw Cappers (Rotary)

U. S. Bottlers rotary cappers can be equipped with from 2 to 30 heads. They offer pitch diameters ranging from 14 inches to more than 3 feet. U. S. Bottlers can offer a variety of configurations ranging from synchronous to tangential infeed to complete monoblock and triblock configurations.

In a typical configuration, a U. S. Bottlers sorter is used in the cap feed system. Designs vary from a rotary centrifugal design to an elevator/hopper version. In operation, caps are fed through a custom chute to a gate system on the cap pick star. When a bottle appears, a sensor enables the cap to be fed to the cap feed star and individually located below the chuck. A mechanical or pneumatic chuck system then picks the cap and places it on the bottle in the rotary star of the capper.

Sorting Systems

Today's most popular method for cap feeding and sorting is the elevator sorter. In this simple system, caps are elevated to vertical then fed down a chute. Overflow caps return to the main hopper. Prefeeding options include a hopper on the elevator, an external elevating feeder, or a vibration-fed system.

US Bottlers also carries rotary and vibratory style sorters. We work with several of the most reputable firms in the industry to provide our customers with the best sorter for a customers' application.
